Our Business Principles:

In the undertaking of our business operations, we are fully committed to responsible environmental management. Reports suggest that the construction Industry accounts for approximately 50% of global energy usage, 50% of global water usage and 50% of the total usage of raw materials (The Impacts of Construction and the Built Environment 2010, Willmott Dixon).

Maximising efficiency and reducing environmental impacts is a fundamental objective of our business and we have committed to;

  • Setting objectives which encourage environmental responsibility and sustainability through the reduction of waste.
  • Monitoring and recording the environmental impact of our business operations.
  • Ensuring that we comply with all relevant environmental legislation.
  • Promoting cultural sustainability.

As a responsible contractor, we will provide an appropriate level of resource to ensure that these business principles are maintained and that our progress is regularly communicated. In addition to the above we also;

  • Encourage reduced dependency on single occupancy car travel.
  • Encourage the reduction of our environmental impact through sustainable procurement planning.
  • Encourage a reduction in the consumption of water in our operations.
  • Encourage our staff to promote the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability.

This statement has been formally implemented to communicate the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability in our business operations.
